I got to see the Yami no Matsuei dub today.

Nyahahahahahahahaha.

I think I recognized a few voices from Cardcaptors. XD

Well, I mostly wanted to see it cuz of what I heard about the Gushoshin and Watari voices. And I was not disappointed. XD
Yeah, Watari has a super gay flighty, brit accent done by none other than Eric Stuart. So sometimes he sounds like James of Team Rocket, especially when Eric Stuart was over-acting (which was 99% of the time).
But I love it that the red Gushoshin has this squeaky voice in a brooklyn accent while the blue Gushoshin has this gruff DEEP voice. XDDDDDD
Oh and what I saw was the Devil's Trill arc, so I didn't get to hear Muraki (yay). But DUDE, Hijiri. @_@ I want to point and laugh at his dub voice. Reminded me of Shinji from the Eva dub. XD
Hisoka was ....okay. Well, actually whenever he was speaking to someone other than Tsuzuki, he was fine, good even. But whenever he was talking to Tsuzuki, he sounds... dead, for lack of a better word. He just has no emotion in his voice, like Trowa from GW. I guess that difference is sorta interesting, but not accurate.
Tsuzuki probably came out the best, but he didn't sound cute at the humor parts or the parts where he originally is cute and squealy. Darn. Without the cute, Tsuzuki came out sounding like a cliche protective hero. But duuuuuuuuude, that part where he kills "Hijiri". He sounds more suggestive than Miki Shinichiro did. O_O
So yes, the dub should be used for much pointing and laughing.
And let's not forget the mispronounciation of half the names. XD

Waaaaaaaii~, my manga came today~!!
It's six(!) books: Fushigi Yuugi vol. 8, Man of Many Faces (aka 20 mensou ni onegai), Clamp School Detectives, Fake, CCS vol. 10, and CB shooting star.
Unfortunately, bn.com didn't have Evangelion vol. 7 so i couldn't get it. Darn, it's the one where Kaworu-kun comes into the plot. (tho he comes at the end ^^;)
Fake is surprisingly GOOD. Dee and Ryo's bickering, Dee's fights with Bikky, Ryo spazzing, Dee being a big idiot, all so funny~. That and it helps that they end up kissing in each act. mwahaha... *waits for more makeout scenes*
The Clamp stuff is fun and insane but I couldn't stop squealing and making high-pitched noises at the TouyaxYukito scenes. ^^; Come on, whaddaya want from me? They're practically an official couple in this volume now. *coos some more*
And the Cowboy Bebop one is okay. It's a version that was drawn before the anime so Spike has a different hairstyle and Ed actually sorta makes sense. o_O (and wears an apparently see-through shirt, that ain't right!) *coff* It's fun but they killed off a minor character I liked. -_- boo. He was fun and hot too.... Also, the art and story's sorta erratic so I got a headache trying to figure out what's happening. ^^; .....grr ed keeps being referred to as a boy. >_<
Nyarrrgh, I got the FY one cuz of the crossdressing misadventures but it also includes Nuriko's big fight with Ashitare. T___________T nuriko~~~~~ *goes into blubbering state*

Dammit, why can't I find any good KoujixTasuki fics?? Fics that don't make me twitch, claw at my eyes, or hold my head in my hands. I think I've read less than 5 (out of 20) that didn't do that. Grrrrr, they're cute dammit, so why is the whole TasukixChichiri thing more popular?! That couple makes me want to bang my head repeatedly against walls. -_-
I'd rather Chichiri be with either no one (he IS a monk) or... Hikou. ^^; Granted, Hikou is dead now and it's incredibly noncanon, but I just think it's such an interesting idea! ^_^ What with all the tension between them... And there's something so very fun about Chichiri getting corrupted. *cackles evilly* I got this all from this really good fanfic that deals with all of this very well.

Well since I'm not sleepy and have OD'ed on Prince of Tennis, I shall rant about Mizuki and Yuuta. ^_^
Now, Yuuta is the younger brother of Fuji and couldn't stand being in his older brother's shadow, who is nicknamed the tennis genius. He didn't want to be always compared to the "Genius" of tennis, so he didn't join Seigaku's tennis team and ended up at St. Rudolph where Mizuki saw his potential.
Unbeknowest to Yuuta, Mizuki is one big sleazy, arrogant jerk who only wants to win and was only using Yuuta to do so. He trained Yuuta well and taught him the twist spin shot but didn't tell Yuuta about the damaging side effect that move would have on him. He only cared about winning. And Yuuta only cared about becoming good enough so he could beat his brother.
Yuuta later realizes he doesn't hate Fuji all that much and also finds out about the twist spin shot's effect. But he's still grateful to Mizuki for helping him (cuz he's a good, nice boy underneath all that resentment and anger ^_^). Mizuki, on the other hand, is PISSED that his predictions and statistics were wrong and that St. Rudolph lost. But I guess he gets over it later on...

Anyway, despite the way I talk about Mizuki, I ADORE him. ^___________^ He's just so eeevil and sneaky and manipulative! #^_^# Not to mention he's fruitier than an orange grove. ^______________^ Oh the looks he gives Yuuta!! And the way he says Yuuta's name!! *swoons* It also helps that he's voiced by Ishida Akira, aka Kaworu from EVA. ^_~ Let the seducing and smut commence! *cackle*
And Yuuta sooooo worships Mizuki. He believes everything Mizuki says and probably has a cute puppy crush on him for paying so much attention to him. Ohohohoho, little naive Yuuta. ^_~ And Mizuki keeps using him with the whole "If you don't do this-and-this, how will you ever beat your brother?" thing. I don't think Yuuta ever figures out how truly evil Mizuki is, but who cares? ^_^ Mizuki-the-evil-seme and Yuuta-the-whipped-uke is so much fuuuuun. >D
Afterall: "Don't worry, I'll keep you company allll night. *evil chuckle*" - Mizuki, when Yuuta protested to extra training. *cackle*
Oh Mizuki, what would Prince of Tennis be without you. *siiigh*
