Random inspired bit of X-related fun by yours truly:

Subaru stared at the container in his hands. It was tubular and marked with various onmyoujitsu symbols, including the inverted pentacle belonging to the Sakurazukamori. He sat down on the couch and pondered the Dragon of Earth's words to him. What he held in his hands contained the Sakurazukamori's deepest Wish. He was amazed. The person who he had lived for, the person who he had thought only regarded him as a worthless toy, had actually Wished something for him. Subaru could barely believe it.
"The Sakurazukamori apparently was not pleased another man had left his mark on you," the Kamui of the Dragons of Earth had said, referring to Subaru's blind white eye. "The Sakurazukamori's wish was for that wound to be erased."
Which meant the ornate canister Subaru was holding contained the eye of his beloved, to be used as a replacement. However, the Kamui of Earth had also warned Subaru that he would become the Sakurazukamori by using the eye.
Subaru thought of his face, the one golden brown eye and one milky white eye, for once, glinting kindly at him before he...
What Subaru held in his hands was the last remains of his most precious person; it didn't matter what happened to himself. The sakura blossoms rained down outside the window. Subaru took a deep breath and opened the canister.
"What the-?! This is a BLUE eye!!" *shakes fist at sky* "Damn you, Fuuma!!!"


Yes, I shouldn't be trusted to write fanfics. I leave that to Christine. ^_^
