japanese school boys!!!1!11

Waterboys: Five adorable and well-meaning misfits at a Japanese high school try to organize a synchronized swimming team, but their early efforts at a routine end in disaster. They persevere, and with the help of a Dolphin Trainer from the local aquarium they eventually get it right and earn the respect of their peers.

Moriyama Eiji (musical!Momo) even has a small part in it as some coach. XD

There was even a TV version afterwards.

BUT the real point of this post is:

OMG WATERBOYS 2 IS BEING SHOWN ON SUNDAYS AT 7:30.

I guess it's like the second season but with an entirely new cast and OMG dorky Japanese school boys in synchronised swimming!!1!

random thing about the show: apparently the high school is made up of mostly girls, and all the boys (probably around 40 of 'em) huddle together and eat lunch on the rooftop. XD
