Yeeeaah, Ban and Ginji didn't exactly separate on good terms. >_________>;;;
The last they saw each other, Ginji had become Raitei when one of the Kiriyuudo (the black-widow lady) had tricked him again and fatally injured him. Luckily(?), becoming Raitei gives Ginji super healing powers. But the real problem is Ginji's conscious decision to become him. Raitei puts a terrible stress on Ginji, physically, mentally, and emotionally. And each time, Ginji is a step closer to completely becoming Raitei. Ban knows this (and more, that the poor readers don't >_>), which is why he convinced Ginji/Raitei to leave Mugenjou so he could stay as Ginji and why Ginji says Ban gets angry when he goes Raitei.
And this time was really bad. I guess Jyorougumo (the spider lady) tricking him again was the last straw. That and before, he was talking to one of the lesser Kiriyuudo about why one fights. And Ginji said that no one should have to fight just because there's nothing else or because it's "fate". So when Raitei appeared and the part of the building he was in exploded, he said to a shocked Jyorougumo, "Why? ...Why do you make me fight?"
Somehow, spider lady was not scared and kept attacking and provoking him (idiot... >_>). Raitei of course, got angrier and more powerful. When Ban (and Himiko) burst in on the scene, even Ban's voice yelling for him to stop didn't bring Ginji back. O____O Which is something that worked before... Instead, all the built-up electricity exploded, taking out the building and the surrounding area. Er... >_>;;;;;;;
Later, you see Himiko and Ban in some smelly alley with an unconscious Ginji. Himiko watches the firemen rushing past and sorta rambles to fill the silence. She talks about what Ginji had done, his uncontrollable and insanely powerful electricity, and remarks that no wonder Raitei was called the "Diablo" of Mugenjou. Then she says, "Really, what is with this guy." Ban, who's been silent the whole time, just says, "...who knows...."
Then Ginji wakes up. *will start quoting/translating now cuz i can*
Ginji: *gets up* Huh...? Where....?
Himiko: You're finally awake, sleepy-head!
Ginji: *turns to face them* Ban-chan...
Ban: *silent again*
Ginji: ..oh yeah. I..... became Raitei again. I became him and... *trails off*
Ban: *gets up* Ginji...
Ginji: !!
*insert sound of Ginji getting punched by Ban and crashing into some trash cans here* >_>;;;;;;;
Ginji and Himiko are of course super shocked. Ban then yells how fucking dangerous Ginji was and whether he understands what the fuck he had done. Ginji tries to say that he would have DIED, what else could he have done, but Ban cuts him off. Then he quietly asks if Ginji understands how much danger he had put all the people in the city in. Ginji could have killed them. After some silence, Ginji's says he's sorry but then Ban turns around and says, "Let's go, Himiko." Himiko asks where, since they don't know where Madoka-chan (the retrieval target) is, but she's interrupted.
It's Kadsuki, saying the Kiriyuudo and Madoka-chan are in the Kiriyuudo headquarters in "Hell Valley" (....what the shit? >_>). He's got the info Paul had and he was sent by MakubeX who told him that Madoka was kidnapped. Though he never thought he'd find Raitei here too... Ginji says, "...sorry. But I feel perfectly alright now!" Kadsuki doesn't reply, but Ginji goes on saying "All right! This time there'll be no mistakes! Let's go get back Madoka-chan!!" "You're not coming," Ban immediately says. Ginji goes "eh...?" and Ban continues that Ginji's to go back to the Honky Tonk and stay there. "Eh?! That's... But I'm FINE!! My body feels fine.." but he's cut off when his arm is grabbed and placed on Ban's chest. "Then show me your electricity," Ban says. Ginji's stunned, but Ban says to just do it. Himiko tries to stop him, but he tells her to just be quiet and shut up. He says to Ginji again to do it and then they'll see whether he'll go with them to get Madoka.
With much hesitation, Ginji does his usual yell when he uses an electrical attack. ...But nothing happens. O_O Kadsuki and Himiko are shocked and Ginji says, "My electricity-- is gone...." "I wonder why that is?" says Ban and *insert sound of Ban throwing Ginji against the trash cans again here* (>_<;;). Ginji can't believe he can't use his power anymore, and then Ban says that this isn't Mugenjou dammit and Ginji shouldn't even have to become Raitei in the first place here. THEN he says, "GET LOST. You're useless." and walks away with Kadsuki and Himiko following him. O_O (ban-chan, you're pissing me off here... >_>) You see Ginji still sitting there alone in the alley and he quietly says, "Ban-chan... Doesn't the 'S' in 'Get Backers' mean I'm not alone? Because my power's gone, is that why you don't want to be with me? Answer me, Ban-chan... BAN-CHAAAAAAAAAAN!!" T________________T
Later, you find a traumatized chibi Ginji at the Honky Tonk with Hevn, Paul, and the others. Akabane-san pops up (poor ginji) and he, Ginji, and Hevn go off to continue the retrieval. Ginji's still depressed but he's distracted by Akabane-san (poor ginji) and reminded by Hevn that their priority is to get Madoka-chan back! Unfortunately, the helicopter they're in crashes due to interference from one of the Kiriyuudo. Akabane-san escapes with Hevn leaving behind Ginji with the pilot (>_>;;). Meanwhile, Ban, Himiko, and Kadsuki are traveling and at one point Himiko says they have to hurry up before the sun goes down. Ban says, "Alright! I know! Oi, let's go, Ginji!" Himiko's just "Ban....?" and Kadsuki's silent. Then Ban realizes what he just said and he has teh superangst face. He then just says, "Let's go..." (T_____T).
Later, Himiko gets captured by the Kiriyuudo and at that moment Ban and Kadsuki see this fireball on a mountainside. Ban immediately realizes/senses it's Ginji and tells Kadsuki to go help Ginji while he'll help Himiko. Kadsu-chan asks if this is a good idea and Ban tells him it's not like Ginji will die! And Ban has the promise he made to Himiko's dead brother to protect her. Besides, Ban believes that Ginji has the strength to survive (*^___^*). Meanwhile, Ginji's injured sitting against a tree near the rubble of the helicopter. He saved the pilot though he's not doing too well himself. He wonders if Hevn's okay but Akabane-san was with her so she must be. Then he notices that the background noises are getting farther away and he's losing feeling. Is he going to die? Is it good this way? He won't have to fight anymore... Is it okay for it to end like this? And then his thoughts are on a Ban walking away from him and tears slip down his cheek (T___T).
LUCKILY, one of the Mariyuudo, Shido's clan, heals Ginji saying that if you're crying for someone as you die then you obviously aren't ready to go yet (THANK YOU!! *_*). Hevn, Kadsuki, and Akabane-san find him and Kadsu-chan remarks that he's strong just like Ban had said. But Ginji's says he's not, he had wanted to die back there. But he's glad he was saved because that would have been a pretty shameful death. Meanwhile, Kagami teams up with an annoyed Ban to save Himiko because apparently Kagami has a crush on her (>_>;;;). They find her but she's now with the Kiriyuudo!! Dun dun dun! Turns out that's not the full truth, she teamed up with one of them and it's a plan to fool some other Kiriyuudo. Then Ginji and the gang get attacked by a super powerful member of the Kiriyuudo and many bug-people. Kadsuki tells Ginji he'll protect him but Ginji says it's okay and proceeds to gracefully dodge one of the bug-people and time his movements perfectly with Kadsuki's attacks. Kadsu-chan goes WTF, is this a newfound power or something he had in him all along. o_o
Toshiki and Juubei turn up to help Kadsuki in the fight (where it's now many spiders o_o) and Ginji and Akabane keep going because Kadsuki and the others are too injured. Ginji and Akabane come across the same powerful Kiriyuudo again and Akabane tells him to leave because it's going to be a big battle. Ginji ends up fighting another Kiriyuudo member (scans here). After that, things get fuzzy and I have no clue what happens. ^_^;;;;
OMG WTF This is long~! I start to explain stuff and I end up translating portions of the manga! ARRRRFGH @_@

But Ginji's hand gets caught by BAN-CHAN!!! Ban-chan to the rescue~ *_____* Ban, who btw looks very bruised and crappy and somehow lost the white shirt, is all "What the hell do you thinking you're doing, you idiot?" A surprised Ginji just says "Ban-chan...." but whatever, Ban just drops him and keeps on complaining/insulting (>_>). When he's finished, Ginji goes "Ban-chan....?" and Ban replies "yeah". Ginji, with close-up on eyes, goes "Ban-chan.." and Ban has a close-up on his eyes too and AAaaAAAa teh SPARKLIES!!! There are SPARKLIES and BUBBLES for the close-ups!!! AAAAaaaaaAA!! ♥ *_______*
Of course, this means it is teh flying glomp time and AAaaaaaa~~ Ginji hugs Ban with a "BAN-CHAAAN!!" and Ban ruffles Ginji's hair and AAAAaaaAA they're both so smiley and happy~!!! ♥ Shido and the other Mariyuudo clan heads are there too, either remarking on Ban or sweatdropping. ^^ And waaaaai~ tare!Ginji is fandancing in circles on Ban's head and going "Ban-chan's with me! Ban-chan's with me! Ban-chan's with me!" *^____^* Then it just deteriorates to "ban-chan ban-chan ban-chan ban-chan ban-chan ban-chan etc." ♥ Finally, Ban just stomps on him, telling him to shut up. ^^; He asks what the hell is Ginji doing here if he had told him not to come. Ginji (who's not chibi now) is silent, then says, "But Ban-chan said once, that I have true power in me. So to find that, I came here!!" And Ban has teh most fucking SWEETEST SMILE on his face. ♥ with flowers and sparklies in the background~~ aaaaa~
I think Ginji's answer meant that he went against what Ban had said the last time they had been together, because Ban had told him once (flashback here) that he has real power, not just Raitei's, in him. And the problem in the first place was Ginji's dependence on Raitei. So Ginji kept going with the retrieval mission without his electricity and even discovered a bit of his new power. *^___^* Gin-chan, I wuv yoo. And DAMN, Ginji, that is a GOOD ANSWER. BAN-CHAN IS PLEASED. :D :D :D
THEN!! OMG THEN!! Ban suddenly says, "...If it's been taken, we'll take it back!" Ginji, standing up, answers, "Our retrieval success rate is nearly 100%!"
